My short story, Miltonia Butterflies (which I couldn’t have completed without the wonderful critique advice of Cresta McGowan), is now in the hands of judges of The Writer’s Short Story Contest and the Tom Howard/John H. Reid Short Story Contest.
It’s been quite some time since I entered a contest. 2007 to be exact. I found myself caught up in other things and my writing was neglected for so long. It feels good to be back at the keyboard doing something I love. Not that I didn’t enjoy running Incurable Disease of Writing – it’s upkeep just took a huge amount of time.
So, wish me luck! While you’re at it, why not submit your own short story to a contest.
