Are you looking for a unique gift for the writer in your life? Are you a writer and want to treat yourself this Christmas? Here are a few ideas to get you started.
These “Literary Aces” playing cards will make you the biggest deal in your writing group. Featuring the faces of your favorite writers, every hand is a full house of literary greatness. Face cards include one-of-a-kind portraits of Virginia Woolf, Franz Kafka, Marcel Proust, and many more.
We’re big on games in my family and I’d love to have these faces staring back at me while playing Texas Hold ‘Em, Pitch, Hand and Foot, Gin Rummy or Pinochle.
Do you have a favorite card game?

Subscription boxes are huge these days, so I was overjoyed to find Book Riot which appeals to writers and readers.
Always books, never boring, Book Riot is a community dedicated to the idea that writing about books and reading should be just as diverse as books and readers are. We think you can like both J.K. Rowling and J.M. Coetzee, that there are smart, funny, and informative things to say about both, and that you shouldn’t have to choose.
Forget the beauty/cosmetic boxes, baby boxes and even forget the fitness and fashion boxes. Give me a quarterly subscription to Book Riot and I’m a happy writer.
These soy candles and melts are sure to please the writer and book lover in your life. The names are bound to get a smile at the very least.

Think Geek has several items to wow your favorite writer. These pillows fashioned like old books captured my attention.
These Olde Book Pillow Classics look great in your reading nook, plus they give you something to prop your neck on while you’re nose-deep in a book or a soft place to faceplant if your reading’s been a bit too much. Choose amongst literary canon favorites Alice in Wonderland, Sherlock Holmes, and Treasure Island, or pick up all three to complete the … wait for it… pillowgy. They’re softback books featuring a lovely, hand-tooled polyester binding. Treasure Island and The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes are both closed; Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland is open to the section where she first encounters the Cheshire Cat. All feature 360° of decoration, so all sides cater to your own personal literary side.
If you don’t mind spending a bit more on your writer, I’m sure they’d love this duvet with writing utensils and the message Weapons of Mass Creation emblazoned across it. You can also get it on a t-shirt, mug, throw pillow, iPhone case and several other products.
Cover yourself in creativity with our ultra soft microfiber duvet covers. Hand sewn and meticulously crafted, these lightweight duvet covers vividly feature your favorite designs with a soft white reverse side. A durable and hidden zipper offers simple assembly for easy care – machine washable with cold water on gentle cycle with mild detergent. Available for King, Queen and Full duvets – duvet insert not included.
These are just a few ideas I ran across. If you know of other writer/book products that would make great Christmas gifts, please share in the comments.
