Sorry for the Neglect

You might think I’m neglecting you. You would be right. It’s not because I want to, but because my life has taken another turn.

I knew packing up my parents’ home would be a huge undertaking, but it has consumed the majority of my time. When I’m not sorting, discarding or packing I’m so tired that I want only to perform tasks that take little or no brain power.

Friday is the magic day. The day we close on our new home. Once everything is moved we can unpack at a more sedate pace and I’ll have time to work on my novel, edit a short story for contest submission and hopefully my brain will absorb the wonders around me so that I may share them with you here.

Though I may be neglecting you now, rest assured I’ll return to my former creative self and will be eager to include you in my world once again.

  • I know how exhausting and rough that is, Missy. I hope it all goes as well as can be hoped and that you get back to a peaceful routine soon!

      Thanks, Annie.
