Science Fiction and Smashwords

Big news to share today. Over the weekend, I self-published my short story, Fool’s Journey, using Smashwords. It was a long process but easy to perform. Had to convert my Scrivener file to a Word file and do a few things to make the Smashwords conversion work for multiple e-reader formats. At first I thought it would be a hassle. It turned out to be straightforward and simple.

This is my first attempt at Science Fiction. Writing it wasn’t easy. There are so many things you have to take into consideration to make it believable. I was also going for the “Firefly” feel. Not sure I succeeded in that aspect. My plan is to write a sequel to this one. I have the idea but need to outline and let the plot ruminate a bit. Hopefully, it won’t be too long before I start putting words on the page. As I’m dedicating weekdays to my novel, the only time I spend on short stories is weekends.

I’m giving Fool’s Journey away. Yes, that’s right. It’s FREE. Officially, it is still waiting review but it looks as if it is already being downloaded. You can click the book cover or here to find the links to get your own copy. I’ll also be adding links in my blog’s sidebar this week.

I hope you enjoy reading Fool’s Journey and would love to hear what you think of it. Good or bad. I can take it.

Remember to do your best each day and happy writing,
